I’m a sucker for a good quote. As a teenager, I had them plastered all over my room on sticky notes (once a nerd, always a nerd). I stumbled across a quote this summer while shopping at a trendy five-and-dime with my husband, and I knew I wanted it in my classroom this year. Instead of buying the small painted wooden block it came on, I thought, I can make one! I laid it out, attributed it, then framed it in an IKEA frame. It’s perfect for the teacher shelf in my room.
